The Government constituted the National Disaster Mitigation Fund (NDMF) in February, 2021. 16th Finance commission has allocated Rs. 19,851.50 Crore under NDMF; and Rs. 40,880 Crore under State Disaster Mitigation Fund (SDMF) for the period 2026-2031.
