The Civic Action Programme (CAP) provides funds to Central Armed Police Force Companies deployed in the LWE theatre to undertake welfare-oriented activities such as medical camps, sports events, distribution of essential items e.g. radio, cycle, agricultural tools, and assistance to youth and women’s groups. These initiatives have helped strengthen trust and improve interaction between security forces and local communities. A total amount of Rs 221.88 cr has been released under this scheme since 2014.
