About Foreigners Division
- The Foreigners Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs deals with matters relating to foreign nationals, visa and immigration, and citizenship.
- It is responsible for formulation and implementation of visa policy and regulation of the entry, stay, registration, and exit of foreigners in India.
- The Division also handles matters relating to citizenship, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI), and issues of illegal migration and deportation, in accordance with the law and Government policy.
